At Home Theory, carpentry is our passion. We pursue excellence within our craft and find beauty in every design. We believe that everyone has their own idea of what a home should be and know there are no 'one size fits all' solutions.
Born and raised in the Pocono Mountains of northeast Pennsylvania, company founder Dan Hickey made the move to the slightly bigger mountains of Bozeman, Montana. Working in the trade in the Big Sky and Gallatin Valley areas, Dan refined his craft and created Home Theory. After seven great years, Dan decided to make the move to the Gem State and beautiful Boise. When not swinging a hammer or cutting a board, you can find him enjoying the outdoors skiing or riding his mountain bike.
